If you have been keeping up with the news of Randy Travis previous cases of DUI cases, you will recall how he got into a fight on church property, which was the latest update at SCR blog.  Allegedly, he was stopping an argument between the estranged husband and his girlfriend and this did not look good, after he was already in trouble with the law earlier this year.

According to WFAA.com, the country singer, Randy Travis pleads not guilty to a simple assault charge.  Hopefully, the judge and jury will give him a chance to get his life in order, jail time is not always the answer.  A lot of times, it takes rehabilitation to change a person.   Randy Travis, also allegedly claimed he was a born again Christian at one time and could be seen in concert at John Hagee's Cornerstone church in San Antonio Texas, several years ago.   So, we deeply feel his issue is spiritual and there is hope for him.  Unlike other celebrities, we feel Randy Travis has really tried to have a close relationship with Jesus Christ, but sometimes life just has been hard for him.

In the meantime, we will keep Randy Travis in our prayers.  May God bless and keep him.
